PostHeaderIcon Queensland Floods- Earthmoving Subcontractors Needed for Clean Up, Repairs and Construction

The devastation caused by the Queensland floods are going to require massive clean up and construction to be undertaken to return the flood affected areas back to normal. As a part of this, Foley’s Earthmoving has been asked to provide a list of earthmoving and construction equipment all over South East Queensland to the State Government Department that will be involved in the process.
Due to the immense level of work to be undertaken by the departments, they are not currently seeking expressions of interest at this time from contractors as they are more concerned with the relief work for those affected. But in contacting the departments last week prior to the floods in Ipswich and Brisbane, Foley’s Earthmoving has been asked directly to provide a list of equipment it can supply as part of the works to be carried out after the flood recedes. From what the department has informed us, after the flood water recedes, the affected areas assessed and priority works identified, we will be required to move in ready to undertake works.
For this reason Foley’s Earthmoving is requesting all earthmoving subcontractors to provide details of their equipment that is available all over South East Queensland, including areas as Dalby, Chinchilla, Toowoomba, Lockyer Valley, Ipswich, Brisbane, Warwick and the Sunchine Coast. it is expected that work will commence as early as the weekend as the waters begin to recede and the clean up work begins.
If you are an earthmoving contractor or know of any earthmoving contractors, please go to our ‘Subcontractors’ page and email us the information required to allow us to list your equipment.
